Well, the Utah Games Guild indie showcase at Salt Lake Gaming Con was a huge success for us! We introduced the game to a bunch of first-time players and also made several awesome press contacts. (If you didn't get a chance to attend, here's the Guild's writeup of the event.)
This is what our Legacy of the Elder Star booth looked like just before the show opened on Thursday:
We had two playable demo stations (left and right) and the TV in the center was just running a gameplay loop throughout the show. That served as a really effective attractor!
We also made these sweet 15-page art books for people to flip through while waiting for a demo station to free up:
We got a nice shout-out from the managing editor of our local newspaper, The Salt Lake Tribune:
And Erik randomly decided to draw one of our players while he played the game, which resulted in this gem:
Our next goal is kicking off our Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter campaigns, which are coming up soon. More details in next week's dev diary!
